Click your country’s flag at the top right – USA, Canada, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, UAE, Singapore or Malaysia – to set the currency, common tax rates, tax-ID fields and date format automatically.

Yes. Choose any currency from the Currency menu, such as EUR, GBP, AUD or SAR, whichever country you have selected.

Yes. Click Taxes to add as many taxes as you need – for example CGST and SGST in India, or GST and PST in Canada – and tick which ones apply to each line. You can also mark a tax as compound.

The presets are a convenient starting point, but tax rates and rules change. Every rate can be edited, so always check the correct rate for your goods or services with your tax authority or adviser.

Yes. Tick “Show amount in words” and the total is printed in words, for example “Rupees One Lakh Eighteen Thousand Only”. It is on by default for countries where this is customary.

No. BillDoodle creates PDF documents. Businesses that must use an e-invoicing system – such as India’s Invoice Registration Portal or Malaysia’s MyInvois – need to submit invoices through that system.

Yes. Switch to the Advanced form and open “Customize labels on the PDF” to rename any label, from “Bill To” to “Balance Due” – for example to translate your invoice.

Give every invoice a unique number in sequence, such as INV-001, INV-002. When you start a new document, BillDoodle suggests the next number for you.

Everything you type stays in your own browser. Drafts and your history are saved locally on this device, so nothing is uploaded to our servers.

No. Because your documents are stored only in your browser, we never receive them and cannot recover them. Keep copies of the PDFs you need.
