Terms of Use
Last updated: 13 October 2026
By using billdoodle.com (“BillDoodle”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
BillDoodle is a free tool for creating invoices, receipts, quotes and similar documents in your web browser and downloading them as PDFs. We may change, improve or discontinue features at any time.
2. You are responsible for your documents
- You are responsible for the content of the documents you create and for making sure they meet the legal and tax requirements that apply to you.
- Tax rates are starting points. The tax presets for each country (such as GST, HST, VAT, SST and sales tax) are provided for convenience and may be out of date or not apply to your goods or services. Always check the correct rate and invoice requirements with your tax authority or adviser.
- Not tax, legal or accounting advice. Nothing on BillDoodle is professional advice.
- E-invoicing. Some countries require certain businesses to issue invoices through government or network e-invoicing systems (for example India’s Invoice Registration Portal, Malaysia’s MyInvois, Singapore’s InvoiceNow or the UAE’s e-invoicing programme). BillDoodle creates PDF documents only and does not connect to these systems.
3. Your data and backups
Your drafts and history are stored only in your browser on your device (see our Privacy Policy). Clearing your browser data, using private browsing or changing devices can delete them. Keep copies of the PDFs you need – we cannot restore lost documents.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use BillDoodle to create false, misleading or fraudulent documents, to impersonate another business, or for any unlawful purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the website.
5. Intellectual property
You own the content of your documents. The BillDoodle website, its design and code belong to us. Fonts and open-source libraries used by BillDoodle remain subject to their own licences (for example the SIL Open Font License).
6. No warranty
BillDoodle is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that calculations, tax presets or formats will be suitable for your purposes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of BillDoodle, including lost data, lost profits, tax penalties or errors in documents you create. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed; continuing to use BillDoodle means you accept the updated terms.
