VAT invoices in Bangladesh
VAT in Bangladesh is administered by the National Board of Revenue (NBR) under the VAT and Supplementary Duty Act, 2012. The standard rate is 15%, with reduced rates such as 10%, 7.5% and 5% for some goods and services. Registered businesses are identified by their Business Identification Number (BIN).
BillDoodle sets up a Bangladeshi invoice for you: amounts in taka (BDT) with lakh and crore grouping, dates as DD/MM/YYYY, an A4 PDF, VAT presets and the total in words.
Mushak-6.3 and BillDoodle

- Quotations, estimates and proforma invoices
- Invoices from businesses that aren’t VAT-registered
- Invoices to overseas clients for exported services
- Receipts and delivery notes
What to put on your invoice
- Your business name, address and BIN if registered
- The customer’s name, address and BIN if registered
- The invoice date and a serial number
- Each item with quantity, price, the VAT rate and amount
- The total in figures and words
Frequently asked questions
Is a BillDoodle invoice a valid Mushak-6.3?
